  1. Heat oil over medium heat in a skillet or saucepan. Add onions and cook, tossing occasionally, until golden, about 4 minutes. 

  2. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well blended.

  3. Add the mix to the onions, reduce heat to low, and bring to a simmer.

  4. Cook with lid open, stirring often, until thickened (about 6 minutes). 

Notes

  • Use it as a baste for your barbeque chicken, meat or vegetables. Spread on once you put it on the grill, then again as you  flip it to cook. Then again after it’s done cooking. 
  • Add your grilled chicken (wings, breasts, thighs), ribs, vegetables or whatever you like into a large skillet along with a couple cups of this BBQ sauce. Cook on low to medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes. Finger-licking good!
