Ingredients
    Syrup
  • 30 g sugar
  • 15 g water
  • Cocktail
  • 50 ml rum (white, premium quality)
  • 30 ml lime juice (fresh)
  • 20 ml syrup
Instructions
  1. Syrup: Bring the water to a boil. Dissolve the sugar in the boiling water, stirring constantly. Leave syrup aside to cool.

  2. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well.

  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Serve and enjoy.
Notes

A little history... The daiquiri is thought to have been developed in the late 1800s in Cuba. The name comes from a small town of the same name near Santiago. Probably the most famous daiquiri lover was Ernest Hemingway.
